Workshop and vehicle enquiries
The service booking and collection request forms prepare a WhatsApp message using the details you enter, including your suburb for collection requests. You review and send that message in WhatsApp. Entering details in the form does not itself submit a booking to our website. When you send us a message or email, we use your information to respond, discuss your vehicle and arrange services or viewings. A booking request is subject to availability and confirmation.
Vehicle listings and photographs
Vehicle details and photos submitted through our vehicle upload form are published immediately and stored with our hosting provider, Netlify. Submit only accurate details and photos you have permission to use. Do not include identity documents, bank details, customer contact details or other private information in a public listing. Contact us to correct or remove a listing.
Website services
Netlify hosts the website and stores vehicle listings. The RMI logo loads from Brandfetch’s image hosting service; loading it can share your IP address with that provider. Google Maps is embedded in our contact section, and Google Fonts supplies the site fonts; loading these services can share technical information such as your IP address with Google. Links to WhatsApp, Google reviews and social media take you to those providers, whose own privacy policies apply. Hosting providers may process technical logs to operate the website.
Optional analytics and advertising
If Google Analytics or Google Ads measurement is enabled, we ask for your choice before loading those optional tools. They help measure visits, campaign performance and clicks on contact or booking links. We do not send the contents of your booking form or vehicle upload form to those analytics tools. A measured enquiry click does not mean a booking has been confirmed or a vehicle sold. Declining optional tracking does not affect website features.
Your analytics choice is stored in this browser for up to six months. You can change it using Analytics preferences in the footer when measurement is enabled. Changing the choice stops future optional measurement; it does not erase information already collected.
Retention, access and correction
We retain enquiry and listing information for business needs and applicable legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a concern about how your information is handled. We will assess requests and explain any information we must retain. Service providers may process information outside South Africa.
